inquisition signet ring

I had a great pleasure of making this big extravagant piece of a ring as a custom order.
The client wanted a signet ring with the Spanish inquisition symbol and gothic elements. After drawing the ring on paper I modeled it in 3D - software and sent it for casting. I then hand finished the cast ring.

This ring was just a pure fun to create!

Hello!I am Juha-Pekka Riihelä, jewelry designer / smith from city of Kuopio Finland.I graduated from the Kuopio Academy of Design on june 2015 and started my own business Riihela Koru Ky (fin. Riihelä Jewelry) on December 2015.

So I am a single person entrepreneur and work in my own home studio. I create handmade jewelry and my products include own line of jewelry and made-to-order custom pieces of jewelry.Especially I prefer to make engagement and wedding rings.

My goal with my jewelry is to use more edgy design where the use of hands can be seen clearly. I other words I try to create pieces that can't be found from a normal jewelry shop.
